Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Kate moved to Austin in 2001 to attend the University of Texas, where she studied Art History, Studio Art and Architectural Interior Design. After more than a decade cultivating her skills in leading Austin architecture firms, she launched Kate Blocker Design in 2018.

A licensed interior designer, Kate builds close relationships with clients, curating a home that is uniquely reflective of them, and striving for a final product that is elegant and edited. She draws on a breadth of technical knowledge and experience to ensure a harmonious collaboration with the myriad team members involved in a project. Her attention to detail and dedication to her clients sets her apart.
